At Lewis Truck Lines we are always accepting applications for experiences and career minded independent truck drivers. We have a high standard among our drivers to maintain safety and reliability with the goods that we transport. Below you will find our current driving requirements:

A.  Age 24 or older
B.  No major violation in the preceding 36 months
C.  Four (4) or less violations or one (1) accident and
     two (2) violations in the preceding 36 months.
D.  Two (2) or less violations or one (1) accident in the preceding 12 months.
E.  Must have at least two (2) years driving experience in type of vehicle driving.

Major violations include, but are not limited to:

1. Aggravated assault with a motor vehicle
2. Conviction of a false statement involving a drivers license application
3. Driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs (DWI or DUI)
4. Fleeing or eluding a police officer
5. Leaving the scene of an accident
6. Manslaughter resulting from the operation of a motor vehicle (gross negligence)
7. Operating a motor vehicle without the owner's authority (grand theft)
8. Operating a vehicle while under suspension or revocation
9. Permitting an unlicensed person to drive
10. Physical Control Intoxication
11. Racing or Speed contest
12. Reckless driving
13. refusing chemical test (Implied consent)
14. Using a motor vehicle in the commission of a felony
15. Violation of a railroad crossing.
